2023. 09. 26. HDRI 60th Anniversary: This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute. To celebrate this special occasion, the Institute organises a scientific conference entitled "Demography in Hungary and Europe - 60 years of the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute" on 27 September 2023. The conference will take place in Budapest, and will host international guests.
2023. 07. 04. Regarding Council Decision 2022/2056: We would like to inform our European Partners that the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute is neither a public interest trust established on the basis of the Hungarian Act IX of 2021, nor an entity maintained by such a public interest trust. Thus HDRI is not affected by the Council Implementing Decision 2022/2506 and can continue to apply for and receive funding as a beneficiary. Please continue to consider cooperation with our Institute in European projects.
2023. 06. 05. Presentation in Prague: Katalin Kovács gave a presentation entitled „The onset of controversial communication on vaccination: influenza vaccination in Hungary” on 26 May 2023 at the conference „Sociology of Health and Medicine in the Public Arena During the Covid-19 Pandemic and Beyond” organised by the RN16 European Sociological Association.
