The National Atlas of Hungary received prestigious recognition
The book entitled The National Atlas of Hungary, presented in Hungary in the autumn, was the best among the professional audience at the International Cartographic Association's conference in Florence. Several of our staff assisted in the project. Péter Őri, Lajos Bálint and Laura Szabó participated as co-editors and authors, whereas Zsuzsanna Makay, Judit Monostori, Lívia Murinkó and Csilla Obádovics, as well as Péter Pál Tóth contributed as authors.
The MNA project, implemented with extensive cooperation, was initiated by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and is supported by the Central Statistical Office as a strategic partner.
